Islam is a way of life, and as such Muslims remember Allah in their daily routines in addition to the obligatory "Salat". Examples include "spreading the greeting of peace", "invoking Allah's blessing before and after a meal", "asking for Allah's Mercy and Forgiveness before retiring to sleep", "Praying a special prayer of guidance from Allah/ Istikhara in decision-making", "Asking for relief from a distress", and many many more!
